How could sustainable travelling look like in future?
With the concept of a solar-powered catamaran, I would like to give an outlook on future travelling across the sea. The movement of the catamaran is mainly autonomously controlled so it can be rented by a wide variety of people. If required, it can be controlled manually for complex manoeuvres.
The exterior design is reduced to a pure form and allows a small form factor with a large interior for the guests of the catamaran. This allows it also to moor in a great range of harbors. While the exterior design is reduced to a clear form, the interior takes on greater significance. The lounge inside deliberately breaks with traditional conventions.
